Patient Story: Terry
Hear from Terry, who, aged 60, had a total left knee replacement in 2024, after being diagnosed with athritis in his knees. Aquacel Surgical Cover Dressing was applied to his incision.
Learn how Aquacel Surgical Cover Dressing was paramount in Terry's recovery. It allowed him to feel comfortable with the dressing in place and was still able to complete his physio without any stretching, so much so he described it as a "second skin". As such Terry was off crutches within four weeks. Unfortunately, the dressing on the right knee caused Terry issues, meaning he didn't trust the dressing for simple things such as going upstairs or bending the leg in case something happened.
In Terry's words: "Same knees, same body, same hospital. And yet two totally different stories".
